Life is great!!
I’m sooo excited!! Ok, so maybe I’m hyper because I’m not sure what I’m excited about. Hyperness is fun! I just know that I’m not tired and I should be! Oh! I know what I’m excited about – God!!! I just got home from an excellent evening! Monday Night Life which just started up last week is a service with young adults from around Brampton coming together to worship God regardless of denomination. It is incredible!!! It reminds me of my Tehillah days, I miss those days but now I get to experience something similar again! WOOHOOO!! God is so cool!
So I don’t like denominations. I used to call myself Pentecostal. Then I thought about calling myself a Bapticostal because I have the beliefs of a Pentecostal but go to a Baptist church and am currently attending both Baptist and Pentecostal churches. I decided against that too, although it is kind of funny to tell that to people and see the puzzled look on their faces! Even the word ‘Christian’ has lost so much of its meaning. So many people just attach that tag to themselves but don’t live it in a genuine way. That’s sad. So I don’t really know what to call myself. Christian is the easiest because people know that term. I’m just not satisfied with that. I have a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe! How’s that? I am a Christ follower. I am a child and an heir to the throne of the Most High God.
Every once and a while I get reminded that I am indeed getting older (and hopefully wiser!). I am seeing and hearing about more and more people I know getting engaged or married. It’s pretty cool!
Well I did have a lot to say early when I was thinking about writing this but for some reason it has either left my mind or got buried and lost underneath a pile of other thoughts. I think it’s the latter. I had a really good day today though! A day off with no homework in it followed by a great evening filled with God and people who love God makes for an excellent day! Thanks God for allowing me to experience You tonight and thanks for an excellent day!
